AUS-This hotel I have recently received emails about roaches in the rooms!

These is not acceptable if you stay at this hotel and have notice bugs or

Roaches in your rooms. PLEASE email me ASAP with the room number and date

you stayed.  Curt is requesting specific room numbers when it comes to bugs

in Rooms.  Also I have received a email about wifi not being offered in

guest rooms.  This hotel states that they provide us with free internet hook

up not wifi.   The Front desk supervisor  informed us that the Roach problem

has been reported in the smoking section rooms due to the fact that denny's

just re-opened next door and the cold weather outside.  However, the front

desk mention that if you do have bugs or roaches in your room they need to

know about it ASAP.  So please let the front desk know of the problem and

they will take care of it and will move you to another room.  Then email me

with the problem

SDF- I have received an email maybe concerning the safety of our crews at

this hotel do to the fact that there is a liquor store next to the hotel and

some crew members are not feeling safe.  Also that the rooms have cracks in

ceilings.  I also recently had a flight attendant who was bitten by Bed Bugs

in this hotel.  If you find other problems with this hotel or feel that

safety is an issue here please email me.  I will speak with Curt about other

options in this city.

LAS-I am still working really hard on trying to find another solution for

you guys on the shuttle problem.  I understand that some of you are upset

about having to leave the hotel early but I promise I have been emailing

Curt about this hotel and I am hoping we can find another means of

transportation.  I know most of you like the Palace Station due to the fact

that there is a casino inside as well as entertainment for your enjoyment.

But we have to get this shuttle issue solved leaving again an hour or two

hours prior to Showtime cuts into our rest period.  Please if you have

problems with the hotel shuttle email me.

I would like to take this time to go over a few things with you when

emailing me a concern or problems.  When there is an issue again with

roaches, spiders, ants or any type of bugs in the room  Curt is asking for

specific room numbers , dates and where the bugs where at.  If you can

provide this information when you email me that would help us out a lot.

Bed Bugs if you have been bitten by bed bugs please notify your supervisor

immediately there needs to be a report filled out and if you need medical

attention the company will pay for this.  Being bitten by beg bugs is

considered OJI as long as it happened while you are on duty and provide your

supervisor with the specifics.  And the company is required to pay for you

to go to the doctor they assign you in your domicile.  I also need specific

room numbers and dates of this occurrence as well.  On the subject of bed

bugs please rememember that if there is bed bugs on your bed they can attach

to your luggage and clothing.  So I am asking you not to place your luggage

(roller board, flight bag etc.) on the bed or your clothes.  Please use the

luggage rack that is provided by the hotel.  It's usually in your closets as

well as hanging your clothes in the closet or away from the bed. If you

don't have a luggage rack call the front desk and ask for one.    I am not

saying this will happen however Corrine Kocher provide me with reading

material to educate me on bed bugs and it did state that bed bugs will latch

onto luggage and clothes if you have them in your room.  And keep your dirty

clothes and sleep wear in a separate bags will also prevent beg bugs from

getting into your roller bag.  There's just a little FYI for you when it

comes to bed bugs.

In Conclusion,   as I said several times already please if you have a

problem email me the more emails I get and present to the company the better

chances we have into solving these issues.    No email is stupid or dumb if

you think it's an issue it probably is and you're just the first person to

speak up.  And that's what we as flight attendants need to do is SPEAK UP!

That's the only way we will be heard and get things done.  We shouldn't

settle for less we all should be comfortable and happy where we stay again

it's our home away from home.
